Our church is Pentecostal/Charismatic, Word of Faith.
We are a Bible believing, Christ centered church. We believe the second
chapter of Acts is for the church of today. Our teachings follow those of
Kenneth Copeland Ministries, Frederick KC Price Pastor of Crenshaw Christian
Center in South Central Los Angeles, Kenneth E Hagin Ministries and ministries
that identify themselves with the Word of Faith teachings. Our
doctrinal beliefs
can be found at the bottom of this page.
We are affiliated with
Apostolic Impact Ministries headed by Bishop
Lionel Parsons.

with the other ministries in Frankford, our Senior Pastor Rev. Kenneth Delany was the
President for two terms of the Frankford Ministerium which represents 34
churches and one synagogue in the Frankford area.
Our church is a financial partner of Kenneth Copeland Ministries since 1993.
CITY LIFE CHURCH OUTREACH AND ASSOCIATE PROGRAMS
OUTREACH
Programs:
ST. JOSEPH'S
HOUSING GROUP MEN'S PROGRAM Pastors Ken and Marie Delany together with John Ward and Bishop
Lionel Parsons created St. Joseph's Housing Group to deal with men who
desire to become "clean and sober" and live constructive Christian lives.
Using available resources from the community the men are placed in a
"Intensive Out Patient" structured drug and alcohol program together with a
structured Christian bible centered 12 Step drug and alcohol recovery
program. The men are required to make "AA" and "NA" meetings daily in the
local community 12 Step Meetings. The Rock Church International has
started a family program to help men regain connection with their children
and if possible with their estranged wives. All possible steps are
taken to reunite the men with those they have abused with their past
behavior. Reconnecting men with the responsibilities that they have shelved
for so long and creating a path that is not overwhelming for them to take.
ASSOCIATE
Programs:
OVERINGTON HOUSE WOMEN'S TRANSITIONAL HOUSE FOR HOMELESS WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN
Philadelphia House of Prayer Pastor Marie Delany has founded Overington House
Transitional Living Facility for homeless women with their children. Marie
secured two million dollars in funding to make Overington House a reality.
This facility houses 13 single parent families with their children. Two of the
bedrooms located on the first floor are designed for handicap usage for either
the mother or one or more of her children. Overington House allows a woman
with her children to live in the facility for up to two years. The mission is
to encourage and support the return of women with their children to the normal
mainstream society, with the emotional and spiritual strength, life skills and
work skills, to enable them to support themselves and successfully parent
their children.
LEADERSHIP NETWORK OF PHILADELPHIA
Leadership Network of Philadelphia was formed November 2003. The very
first Community Based Non Profit Organization in The State of Pennsylvania
who's Mission and Vision for the future is to form meaningful Collaborative
Partnerships between The Community, The Church, The Home and The School
Districts. As of the beginning of fiscal year 2006 will expand its vision to
include recreational centers as After School Site/locations throughout
central Philadelphia. This increases opportunity to provide after school for
all. It also makes it possible to include students of all cultural
backgrounds. Our students meet after school at local neighborhood churches
in their neighborhoods. Each location "site" provides after school services
to approximately 50 students on a daily basis. All students are monitored
for school attendance and academic proficiency. The goals of Leadership
Network's after school program are to develop leaders. We set basic
responsibilities, by simply raising the bar regarding accountability and
expectations. The entire school year is spent preparing to increase our
student’s scores in their annual examinations. These preparations includes
practice for the Teranova test and PSA test both administered by The
Department of Education in Harrisburg Pennsylvania.
Mission
Through Tutoring and Mentoring, Connecting those that have made a
difference in The City of Philadelphia with those that someday will.

Additional Comments from the Organization
Leadership Network of Philadelphia is the first community based
organization to focus on building collaborations in different neighborhoods
and of different ethnic backgrounds. LNP intends to expand it's vision to
include Philadelphia's Recreational Facilities as Site Locations. We bring
together the School, the Church, the Community and the Home. We continually
instill in all of our students that If you mind can conceive it, and your
heart can believe it, then you can achieve it.
